GEOS317: Advanced Geoecology

This unit provides an individually tailored program for students undertaking the Geoecology coherency and who have demonstrated outstanding performance in other relevant units. It can, for example, be used to replace GEOS328 Environmental Management as part of the coherency. The unit will typically include small group tutorial teaching with academic staff on areas of relevance to recent research advances in the field. Assessment will typically include assignments, analysis of recent literature, and other major tasks determined in consultation with the unit convener. Enrolment requires the permission of the Dean of Division after consultation with the Head of Department.
