GEOS821: Earth Science |
This unit is for students without previous formal studies in geology. Topics include: the dynamic links between internal and surface features of the earth, in terms of plate tectonics and the rock cycle, and the dependence of the environment on these geological cycles. This unit provides an introduction to earth sciences suitable for students of geosciences and environmental and life sciences and law. Short field trips provide practical experience.
