GEOS904: Evolutionary Trends and Taxonomic Determinations |
Identification of various fossil groups, for example, brachiopods, trilobites, bivalves, echinoderms, using traditional phylogenetic classification compared to computer-generated keys. Evolutionary trends in various stratigraphically import groups is considered. Hands on experience in collecting, preparing and identifying fossil material.
