This unit is suitable for students who have completed GSE200. It deals with a more detailed treatment of the recognition of environmental goods and services within microeconomics and macroeconomics. The topics covered will include: the influence of the environment on the theories of preferences and choice, willingness to pay versus willingness to accept, the environment in demand and supply analyses and market organisations, environmental accounting and the internalisation of the environment in macroeconomic models.
