GSE823: Corporate Environmental Management |
This unit looks specifically at the role and responsibilities within a corporation in terms of environmental management. Detailed consideration is given to practical aspects of establishing and maintaining an environmental management system (ISO 14000)-planning, implementation, training and resourcing, measurement, evaluation, review and improvement. Also covered is an overview of methods for cleaner production and waste minimisation, life cycle analysis, environmental auditing and interacting with neighbours.
