GSE830: Sustainable Urban Regions |
This unit examines the social, economic and environmental challenges associated with the development of more sustainable cities and urban regions are examined, including those in developing countries. Opportunities and barriers to implementing more sustainable urban management and planning practices are explored. Students undertake their own case study: critically assess response strategies and develop their own sustainability plans.
