HLTH801: Ageing and Health: Social and Medical Geographic Perspectives |
This unit examines historical and geographical trends in ageing and considers ageing as a public health issue. As well as highlighting the differential experience of ageing over time and space, it considers issues such as: ageing, health, and the environment (built, work, and natural); injury and chronic illness amongst the aged; needs assessment for the disabled aged; and the migrant elderly and health.
