This unit will discuss theories of international communication centering on a Lasswellian perspective, examining the concepts of elites, influentials, skill groups, value pyramids, propaganda and power. The discussion of these concepts will be placed in a contemporary setting. Lasswellian configurative analysis will also be examined.
