INOV804: Technology-based Entrepreneurship |
The unit focuses on the creation of technology-based start-up companies, and emphasises the issues related to technology commercialisation, the development of viable business models, the distinction between product and service businesses (including the product development process) and the challenge of successfully introducing new technologies into the marketplace. The unit aims to provide students with the core framework for developing a credible business case, and for deciding whether to make a commitment to the new venture.
