JPN195: Japanese In-Country Program |
(WV Session dates: 1 July - 21 July 2007)
This unit consists of a small project component about Japan and three weeks of Japanese language and cultural study in Okinawa International University in Japan in July. Students will experience full immersion in a living language environment and stay at Japanese homes for a weekend. Assessment will be based on several tasks including an essay, presentations and an oral examination. As the places are limited, there will be screening interviews in March. The prerequisite for this unit is JPN111/154 or equivalent experience in studying Japanese.
