JPN221: Japanese Language II (1) |
This is the first half-year language unit of Sequence A (See Undergraduate Programs) for students who have completed 3-unit HSC Japanese or HSC Extension Japanese. This unit is also intended for students who have completed JPN111 Introductory Japanese II or JPN154 Introductory Japanese III (2). However, these students' prior completion of the JPN190 Introductory Japanese Reading Unit is strongly recommended.
JPN221 is intensive and designed to develop skills in all areas of Japanese language to a higher level of proficiency. Reading materials will be chosen from a wide range to equip students with background knowledge of contemporary Japan as well as to expand their vocabulary in a variety of fields.
