JPN320: Japanese Mass Media Workshop |
The aim of this unit is to enable students to critically examine the Japanese mass media and its materials. Some of the areas that will be covered are, reading from Japanese newspapers and magazines; interpreting current topics presented in Japanese mass media; viewing and examination of Japanese television programs on video.
To participate effectively, students are expected to have achieved a good standing in other Japanese units of study. Japanese native speakers may enrol in this unit.
