LAW104: Law, Lawyers and Society |

The unit provides a general introduction to the Macquarie law degree, the Australian legal system, and the core legal scholarship skills of research, essay writing and statutory interpretation. The unit also introduces students to the role of lawyers and the legal profession within society through an analysis of the rules of legal practice, and a broader consideration of personal and professional ethics.
