LAW438: Practising in the Public Interest |
Entry to this unit is competitive. Selected students undertake a one week course 'Practising in the Public Interest', comprising classes conducted by the Public Interest Advocacy Centre and a public interest placement with a law firm or organisation. The course is run in the summer break shortly before first semester, and in the mid-year break. Students write a placement report and an assignment.
