LAW807: Local Government Law |
This unit provides an opportunity to examine the practical operation of environmental regulation at the local level, and examines local Councils as significant bodies usually overlooked as mechanisms of government regulation. The unit examines regulatory powers and functions in general, and avenues for accountability. Environmental responsibilities of local government are also considered.
