LING216: Introduction to Sociolinguistics |
This unit is an introduction to the field of sociolinguistics. Students will examine the links between linguistic and social structures from different perspectives: variation studies, multilingualism, and interactional sociolinguistics.
Evening students will attend face-to-face tutorial classes, but access the lectures from ilecture.
