LING901: Phonetics and Phonology |
This unit focuses on basic articulatory phonetics and the structure of spoken English. The unit aims to provide training in phonetic and phonological principles, and to enable students to carry out phonemic and phonetic transcriptions of English. It also provides students with basic ear training of the sounds of the world's languages.
