Introduction to principles and methodologies for evaluating the effectiveness of communication systems in a range of workplaces, how these systems give rise to particular processes of information construction, exchange and interpretation, and how a multi-modal and multi-perspectived analysis of communication events, participant behaviours, and their associated texts can be revelatory of these systems and processes.
