LING959: Mediated Communication |
Introduction to a variety of methodologies for analysing and describing multi-modal communication in a range of organisational and professional settings, emphasising the impact of the deployment of new communication technologies on workplace communication practices, and participant skills. Particular emphasis is given to man-machine interaction, usability of web-mediated communication, visually presented information, collaborative message generation and document design.
