MCSI390: Special Topic in Christian Studies |
This unit is presented in two modes. In individual mode (available at 300 level only) students MUST consult with the convener before enrolment. In consultation with the unit convener, students will be assigned a staff supervisor who will guide them through a program of study in a specific area of Christian Studies of particular interest to the student. In group mode in 2007, special topics may be offered in the area of Ecology/Environment. Check with MCSI for details.

This unit course connects spirituality and students' present or future work. Drawing on the Bible, vocational guidance literature, psychology and life-stage research, it considers how discernment of personality, spirituality, talents, gifts, and values prepares them for the world of work. The unit is highly interactive using a range of well-tested tools and exercises designed to enable the development of personal character and a suitable vocational fit in the context of finding and fulfilling your mission through the whole of life .
