MPCE361: Technology and Management |
Provides insights into technology transfer, qualitative management, quantitative management, organisational learning and new venture startups within high-tech industrial and commercial domains. A flexible learning approach is employed so that, while the unit has a common core, optional modules may be selected depending on students' backgrounds and learning aspirations. Thus, the unit is suitable for students with a background that may predominantly be either technical or managerial. The unit is open to all Macquarie students in their final year of study; it may be necessary to impose a quota, with competitive entry.
