MUS325: Advanced Musicianship |
This unit encourages students to think critically and creatively about listening, understanding and performing music. The aim of the module is to cultivate an advanced analytical and conceptual foundation for improving practical, aesthetic and critical awareness. This broad ranging approach helps to develop better performance skills by improving melodic and rhythmic competency, aural awareness, phrasing, voicing and so on. Assessment for the unit is based on performance based projects, class presentations and analytical assignments.
