OPTO230: Optoelectronics Simulation and Design |
Design and simulation of optical components, layout and coatings. Fundamental elements of radiometry. Display and optical fibre devices and light modulation. A structured classroom-presentation program: each student is required to give one or two seminars to the class on topics of technological significance including examples of lasers and image detectors such as CCD cameras.
Please note that OPTO230 will be last offered in 2007.
