PSYC971: Advanced Issues in Learning, Judgement, Decision-making and Human Information Processing |
The focus of this unit will be on complex human cognition and information processing. The unit will explore topics including dual process theories of human cognition, the adaptive heuristics vs biases debate, the role of the forth heuristic in information retrieval and manipulation and other topics in the area of human judgement and decision making.
