PSYN803: Neuropsychological Disorders |
The focus of this unit is impairment of cognitive and behavioural functioning following brain damage, covering disorders of memory, language, perception and gnosis, praxis, attention, reasoning and problem solving, calculation, and adaptive behaviour, with an emphasis on their clinical presentation and assessment, as well as what these disorders reveal about the functional organisation of the brain.
