PSYN808: Developmental Neuropsychology |
This unit is offered in alternate years.
This unit examines developmental changes in brain structure and function, and their neuropsychological abnormalities; assessment, diagnosis and treatment of the behavioural and cognitive consequences of damage to the developing brain; and developmental difficulties in acquiring cognitive abilities. It includes material on hydrocephalus, epilepsy, head injury, autism, cerebral palsy, and developmental disorders of cognition and language.
