PSYS825: Drugs and Social Health II (Interventions) |
This unit is concerned with issues of detoxification, maintenance, rehabilitation and safer using practices skills training in a variety of intervention strategies appropriate to clients with drug related problems. It addresses issues such as abstinence vs controlled drinking, drugs in sport, methadone programs and drop out reduction and motivational interviewing.
