SCED819: Learning and Biology |
The relationship between brain and mind has become of considerable interest to educators as new developments in neuroscience and genetics promise to reveal the physical bases for humaness. This unit explores the implications for educators of some recent developments in neuroscience and genetics. It also explores how other physical factors may affect students' learning and behaviour, for example eating disorders and drug addiction.
