SCED820: Coastal and Marine Systems |
This unit examines the chemical and physical processes of near-shore coastal environments -- both aquatic and terrestrial. It examines coastal and marine biological communities and the impact of human activities on these systems. It also covers management issues relevant to marine environments including pollution, fisheries ecology, Marine Protected Areas and relevant legislation.
