SOC331: Advanced Methods in Social Research |
Taught in collaboration with the Psychology Department, this unit introduces a wide range of data analysis skills through the concept of the general linear model. Topics covered include multiple regression, logistic regression and analysis of variance. Practical classes are based on the use of the SPSS statistical package. A background knowledge of social statistics is strongly recommended for prospective students of this course.
