TRAN819: Introduction to Text Analysis and Translation |
The unit is a presentation of tools for text analysis and practical work on English texts in a number of areas relevant to the translator's and interpreter's work. The unit is also an introduction to discourse analysis for students who have no previous background in linguistics. Two hours per week, tools for analysis and text analysis and vocabulary study.
