ACES849: The Middle Years of Schooling (Years 5-9)

This unit focuses upon the Middle Years of Schooling (Yrs 5-9). Topics include: alternative school structures, innovative pedagogies, multi dimensional novel curricula, integration and accommodation of distinctive primary and secondary school cultures, early and mid adolescent psychological, social, emotional and physical development, student behaviour management, formation of appropriate youth identities, testing and reporting strategies.
