ACES872: Curriculum Design and Assessment in Higher Education |
This unit aims to give participants an understanding of curriculum and what influences it, alternative approaches to course design and the importance of aligning learning goals/objectives, teaching/learning activities and assessment tasks. Seminars will deal with the impact of context upon course design and the crucial role of assessment in determining the quality of student learning.
