AMED836: Ethics and Professionalism |
Surgery requires a high level of ethical and professional development for its effective and responsible practice. The practice based approach to ethics in this unit will use common clinical situations and dilemmas to explore end of life decisions, conflict of interest, consent, trust and regulation. Professionalism will encompass rights, privacy, confidentiality, advocacy, self directed appraisal and development.
