ECHP122: Early Childhood Reflective Practice 1 |
This unit incorporates both theory and practice by combining university based study with practical experience. Course work concentrates on an exploration of the early childhood teacher's role in teaching and learning and students will explore contemporary issues relevant to the field of early childhood education. The practical experience component is based on the expectation that students will be operating at a level reasonably expected of a student who is beginning to develop an understanding of early childhood education. Students are required to complete 12 full days practice teaching in an early childhood setting for children aged birth to five years.
