GEOS417: Readings in Selected Topics in Palaeobiology

An advanced readings unit for 300 level undergraduates with a strong academic . record enrolled in biology or palaeobiology or marine science coherencies. Students will become familiar with interpretation of the primary scientific literature by evaluating, discussing and reviewing a broad range of contemporary "hot topics", topics in palaeobiology and palaeoecology research. This unit is only available as an external offering and includes attendance at compulsory weekend on-campus sessions where students will participate in discussion sessions and specialist workshops.
