JPN290: Intermediate Japanese Reading Unit |
(V2 Session dates: 12 January-12 February 2009)
A long vacation reading unit intended for students who have completed JPN222 Japanese Language II (2). It is designed to further students' reading skills in Japanese as well as expanding their knowledge of contemporary Japanese society and culture. Assessment will be based on a 2-hour examination in February, which includes an English essay on Japanese literature, comprehension of the assigned reading passages and a short composition (in Japanese).
