LAW419: International Human Rights Law

International human rights law reflects the standards created by and imposed on the states of the world for the treatment of individuals and peoples. The driving force to this body of law is the promotion and protection of human dignity. This central aspect of international human rights law is also its greatest challenge. This unit will explore the available procedural framework, as well as the content of the substantive rules.
