MAS208: Multimedia Theory and Production 1 |
This unit combines new media theory with multimedia production and focuses on the social and cultural impact of the internet. The histories and cultures of the new media forms are investigated, as are key debates over issues such as privacy, identity and intellectual property. As well, students learn the
fundamentals of designing and building websites, creating a practical context for their theoretical understanding.
