This unit offers an introduction to the practices of quality non-fiction writing for text-based media, such as magazines, newspapers, books and online publications. Research and interviewing skills receive special attention. Various ethical issues and concepts are explored. Weekly workshops focus closely on developing students' writing style and grace.
