Services products and service enterprises differ in several fundamental aspects from their manufacturing counterparts. This unit addresses the pivotal role that services and financial services play in today's (and tomorrow's) economy. Marketing and operations aspects of service enterprises, large and small, for-profit and not-for-profit, as well as government enterprises are examined.
