SCED807: Getting Practical: The Pedagogy of Laboratory Teaching and Learning |
It is a central tenet of science teaching that laboratory-based practicals are an essential component of a science course, yet little thought is given to the justification of this position, and there is little reflection on the effectiveness of the methods employed. In this unit the pedagogy of laboratory-based practicals will be explored.
