SCED823: Biological Conservation |
This unit covers the development and importance of conservation biology and biodiversity. It includes the translocations and reintroductions, landscape and restoration ecology and the management and recovery of endangered species. It considers the design of reserves for nature conservation and the role of behaviour in conservation biology. It covers conservation genetics, exotic species and biological invasions, and the exploitation and management of wild populations.
