Master of Advanced Surgery

Description
The Master of Advanced Surgery program provides comprehensive, systematic, competency focussed training for specialist surgeons who wish to take their career further along a pathway of super-specialisation. The program is designed to develop the specific technical and non-technical skills that are needed by the super-specialist surgeon and includes ethics and professionalism, research, advocacy, teaching and a personal commitment to lifelong learning. These programs are 'hands on' and super-specialty focussed, and assessment is based upon the standards of performance of the specific competencies.
