ACES802: Searching and Constructing a Literature Review

In consultation with an academic supervisor selected by the student for expertise in the student's chosen topic and for their willingness to act as supervisor, students enrolling in this unit will undertake a comprehensive and critical review of literature providing the theoretical foundations of thought related to the chosen topic. The product of this review could form the basis of future research activity in related units and may be in a publishable format. For students taking this unit in association with other research training units, this critical review of the literature will form the basis of the research project to be completed in ACES803. The product of this unit may be suitable as the basis for further work in a higher degree by research.
