AMED814: Anterior Thoracolumbar Approach for Discectomy, Tumour, Trauma
On completion of this unit, the student will have demonstrated subspecialist expertise in the operative and peri-operative care of patients requiring an anterior thoracolumbar approach to the spine for discectomy, tumour, or trauma. It requires a thorough understanding and knowledge of anterior thoracolumbar spinal instrumentation.
Note: Students enrolled in an external offering of this unit will be required to attend some on campus sessions.
