AMED848: Surgery of the Ascending Aorta and Arch of Aorta
The aim of this unit is to enable the student to achieve demonstrable subspecialist expertise in the evaluation, preoperative workup, operative and perioperative care of patients requiring surgical treatment of conditions affecting the ascending aorta and/or thoracic aorta.
Note: Students enrolled in an external offering of this unit will be required to attend some on campus sessions.
