AMED854: Pacemaker and Defibrillator Implantation
The aim of this unit is to enable the student to achieve demonstrable subspecialist expertise in the evaluation, preoperative workup, operative and perioperative care of patients requiring surgical implantation of a pacemaker or defibrillator.
Note: Students enrolled in an external offering of this unit will be required to attend some on campus sessions.
