BIOL861: Management of Wild Australian Mammals

An intensive course dealing with the management of captive and wild Australian vertebrates. Practical skills are developed including capture, restraint, stress avoidance, sample collection, observation and husbandry of Australian vertebrates. Also includes theoretical issues associated with the topics of conservation, reproduction, nutrition, behaviour, ecology, pathology, genetics and evolution.
