CAUD808: Clinical Practicum II

This unit aims to develop knowledge and practical skills in audiological assessment in adults and children over the age of five years including skills in hearing assessment, acoustic impedance measurement and interpretation, adult speech discrimination testing techniques and an understanding of pediatric assessment strategies for children under the age of five years. Students will also develop skills in audiological reporting and will further develop an understanding of ABR, OAE and vestibular assessment. They will further develop their understanding of hearing aid features and styles and their application.
